Recyling is a process for using the product you no longer have any use for or it has served its purpose so we recycle it to make or manufacture new products, by doing this it helps the enviroment.
So what do we do with your unwanted clothing , well it ends up in other countries like Africa, Asia , eastern and western europe.
The countries reuse the clothing and this helps reduces the landfill in the UK
Most local council provide you with recycling containers for paper and plastics and other items which you can use to recycle. To find details of when these road side collections take place and what items they cover, visit your local council recycling page. If its clothes or textiles, DVDS, Books or Mobile phones then contact us we will pay you for these items.
If you want to other items not covered here you can contact any of the many recycle centres in the UK.
The benefits of recycling are helping the environment.
The following are just some of the ways that recycling can help to save the environment and have a positive effect on it.
While we do specialise in recycling textiles, we also collect DVDS, Books and mobile phones.
By recycling other goods instead of throwing them away, we can reduce landfill sites on a large scale. If we were to collect all the clothes that go to landfill over 1million tons per year, this alone would be very good news for the environment as it means a reduction in greenhouse gases.
Using recycled materials in the manufacturing process can significantly reduce the amount of energy required. This is just another way in which it is good for the environment.
Some companies are recycling plastic bottles and making clothing like a fleece and
make clothing from recycled materials the products which are made entirely from recycled or reclaimed fabrics and textiles.
