There are many ways for you to recycle books one of the most common is to donate your old unwanted books to charity to the likes of Oxfam. It is believed that one charity shop alone sell's over 5million books per year making it one of the biggest second hand book retailers in the UK.
Some interesting about books.
For every ten ton of paper is recycled:
170 mature trees are saved
30 cubic yards of landfill space is left empty
70,000 gallons of water are saved
20 barrels of oil is saved
Ten ton of books are about same weight as 15 mini cooper cars.
Enough energy is saved to power an average home for 4years and one month.
After viewing these interesting facts on recycling books, I think most people will find it hard to simply though them in the bin.
So it now leaves you with three choices.
Option one: Sell your books to us and make money for your unwanted books.
Option two: Swap books with your friends and family or join a book swapping club.
Option three: Give your unwanted books to charity and let someone else benefit from your recycled books.
